As anyone who reads my Huffington Post blog will know, I recently had the pleasure of a tour of the brand spanking new European flagship store for Karl Lagerfeld on London's Regent Street, and I'm pleased to report that it didn't disappoint.
It's an absolutely amazing, innovative store which was built to reflect 'the world of Karl', in addition to being a shopping destination for the fashion icon's eponymous 'affordable luxury' brand.
By integrating technology - from digital advertising screens and built-in iPads in the racks telling you more about the collections, to roaming iPad guestbooks which allow you to leave messages and photos for Karl which you can also share via social media, or browse a wealth of editorial style content and the latest Karl news, as well as being able to view the collection lookbook.
There are also special Karl iPads in the changing rooms for all your sharable selfie needs - a store that actually encourages social interaction! Amazing!
If you love fashion and tech toys, this is a must-visit store. Alongside the Karl Lagerfeld women's ready to wear clothing, accessories, footwear and eyewear collections, you'll find the new Karl Lagerfeld eau de parfum (and fab Karl profile portrait sheets), an exclusive London collection comprising Union Jack inspired pieces, and the Lagerfeld menswear range downstairs.
Check out the slideshow of pics from my tour, above, and make sure you visit the store yourself at: Karl Lagerfeld, 145 – 147 Regent Street, London, W1B 4JB
