Classic Book Covers for Kindles - Red5's Old School Cool for eReaders

I'm on a real techy tip at the moment having recently experienced total IT failures on all fronts. With a glut of new Apple kit to deck out, it's made me look into the formerly nerdy world of tech accessories. It seems every major designer is now all over techno accessory fashion, as well as a host of specialist brands - more on this in my Huffington Post Weekend Shopping piece on Saturday - clamouring to dress up and disguise often dreary looking hardware.

Whilst I don't have a Kindle or any other eReader type thing but if I did, I'd be dressing it up in these wonderful book jacket covers from Red5.  The beautifully illustrated Alice in Wonderland sleeve above is almost reason enough to get one alone.  And they're only £14.95 each - winner.  Available from www.RED5.co.uk

Frankenstein, War of the Worlds, Dracula and Wuthering Heights eReader classic book jacket style covers from www.RED5.co.uk

Supreme Spring / Summer 2012 Collection

Too cool for school New York skate empire Supreme has launched it's new Spring Summer 2012 lookbook online.

The new collection mixes the street style and utility the label is known for, with a real 50s Americana via vibe, from classic, preppy shirts, suede bomber and varsity jackets to Hawaiian print shirts, hoodies and - best of all - Schott x Supreme custom fit leather flying jackets with tropical lining.  There's plenty of retro, sports-inspired apparel too for this Olympics year, with baseball jerseys, athletics style running vests, and American football tees.  The caps are out of control this season with the soft camp caps, particularly the suede versions, and the 5 panel map of the world styles doing it best for me. There's the usual discreet to in your face logo-bearing basics and the Kate Moss T-shirt that's been all over the internet for the past week too as well as some great luggage in brilliant colourways - check out the awesome orange nylon utility bag below.

Here's my selection of the best of Supreme SS12 - check out www.supremenewyork.com for the full lookbook and to shop the collection after the drop on 1st March although it'll be available in store from 23rd Feb for everywhere apart from Japan who get it on Feb 25th.

THE ILLIST TIP OFF: SUPREME X THE NORTH FACE LEOPARD PRINT LOVELINESS

You may already know about my penchant for leopard print so it's no surprise that this fresh colab from Supreme x The North Face caught my eye in the latest mailout from The Illist (have a look/sign up here: www.theillist.com). The North Face make awesome outdoor gear that's also perfect for British winters - their gilets are total must haves for anyone who works in drafty offices although (sadly), no leopard print versions are available at this time. Combining their fabric tech know how with Supreme's wicked street style gets you the best of both worlds and even though this is meant to be menswear, I'm totally on board.  These leopard print Nuptse down puffa jackets and the matching Rolling Thunder wheelie carry on luggage are set to drop in the Supreme London store and online on Friday.
