adidas Originals x Mary Katranzou: Collaboration of The Year

EXCITED! Fresh from their killer collaboration with Topshop, adidas Originals has announced that this November, they're releasing a range with high fashion print queen, Mary Katrantzou.

OK so, as promised, following my earlier blog post on the awesome Louise Gray for Topshop clothing collection which launches in stores and online tomorrow, here's a look at some of her limited edition beauty line for Topshop Makeup which hits at the same time.

Louise Gray for Topshop Makeup includes glitter nail polishes (fine glitter orange 'Dart' and electric blue chunkier glitter 'Junkyard' polishes pictured here), mascara with the prettiest gold spotted packaging, a great bright pink lipstick in Legend, bold cheek colours like this 'Up In The Air' cream blush and some beautiful make up brushes.

There's also a Glitter Duo pack of hearts and sequin style spots (pictured here in 'Peacock') to stick in your hair as well as on your skin (think beauty spots, eyebrow adornments a la Bjork, etc or check out how Louise herself models the beauty range here for some inspiration.

Cute Candy Store Cases Launch In UK

I saw the new Candy Store range of accessories all made from colourful, lightweight silicone yesterday and came away with this fab little mirror compact (£10). The US brand has just launched in the UK and includes make up bags (£20) and coin purses (£9) too which the wipe-clean fabric lends itself to perfectly and all close with this super cute bobble snap clasp. They're relatively cheap and very, very cheerful. Me likey!

Kate Spade New York Launches Bold New Bedding Range

Kate Spade New York is on a mission to bring their company philosophy - 'Live Colourfully' - into every aspect of our lives. Kate Spade's Chelsea Tea Party - Flowers, Frocks & Fun in SW3

You know me, I love me some colourful Kate Spade so I was delighted to be invited along to their Afternoon Tea party yesterday to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show at their Sloane Square outpost.

The sun shone on the Chelsea store which had filled it's already colourful windows and displays with some of the most beautiful orchids and floral arrangements, with bright silks, denims and my favourite leopard print shift peeking through like a scene from the fashion amazon.

I was so taken with photographing the fabulous new Spring/Summer 2012 collection - including the first Kate Spade swimwear line which has the most major prints - I didn't find time for any Cocomaya canape treats but I'm assured they were as mouth watering as the collection's juicy colour palette.

Revlon's Scented Nail Polish - A Commuter Essential

OK so you might think scented nail varnish is a bit childish - I can see that - but since I started using it last year it's become a key component in my commuter arsenal.  Stuck next to the smelly guy on the bus but too British to hold your nose? Loving the multi-coloured fair isle-bordering-on-aztec patterning of this Limited Edition Penfield 'Gillman' body warmer which makes a cosy, throw-on alternative to bulky coats and puffa jackets now the temperatures are starting to rise.  The detailed knitted panelling on the yoke and hand warmer pockets, as well as the lining, is a special collaboration between Penfield and Scottish family wool company, Jamieson's, using their exclusive Shetland Wool. A WINTER'S NAIL: TOPSHOP AUTUMN/WINTER HOLIDAY POLISH

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at TopShop make up's Christmas nail colours and thought you might like to see...  I love the muted, on-trend 1970's colours from the Smoke & Mirrors collection (above) with their gorgeous art deco, Empire State Building style packaging. 

And how stunning are these hard wearing metallics?  Such a great range of shades too which all come in the quirky signature TopShop polka dot bottles which are so fun.
