Siouxsie Sioux x Supreme
Supreme is going old school punk on hipster skate kids' asses this Spring with their Siouxsie Sioux print pieces, including this classic black t-shirt. I wonder how many of them will know who she is?

Albert Hammond Jr. Designs Suits for LA's Confederacy - Pre-Order Open Now!
In between all the Olympics tweets last night I spotted this little gem in my timeline... Albert Hammond Jr., The Strokes' guitarist, designed the slick claret and bottle green suits Ryan Gosling wore in Crazy Stupid Love. How cool is that? For anyone who hasn't seen the film, have a look at the pics below.
The AW12 suits were designed for the uber-cool sounding LA-based store Confederacy, owned by DJ Danny Masterson and celebrity stylist Ilaria Urbinati, who have their staff uniforms specially designed each season by the likes of Rag and Bone, and Shipley & Halmos. Sweet.
The super sexy Albert Hammond Jr. for Confederacy suits are available for pre-order now for $2,125 plus tax and any applicable shipping fees (and they do ship internationally). To get involved call the store on +323 913 3040 or email them on confederacy4661@gmail.com to order yours. www.shopconfederacy.com

Rita Ora Kicks It In Custom JW Anderson at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend
Jay-Z and Rihanna may have stolen the show at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend but Rita Ora brought some serious fashion game with this wicked J.W. Anderson stage outfit.
Made specially for her, the sporty three piece worked the menswear-as-womenswear trend, having been adapted from a men's look from the JW Anderson AW12 ready to wear line (pictured below).
Keeping it urban with some sweet Jordan IIIs, the cheeky matchy-matchy number was made up of high waisted, rolled trousers, a cropped tie waist shirt and boxy jacket, all in a fun cockerel print. This sports luxe look had definite new wave shell suit vibes to it - could it be true they're making a comeback..??

I Love My MTV - 90s Love for Pull & Bear Retro T-Shirts
The MTV logo is synonymous with 80s and 90s fashion. Since the revolutionary music channel's launch in 1981, the iconic motif has remained pretty much unchanged, although it has had a few little makeovers. Check these awesome ice-cream coloured tees, above, with a variety of classic MTV logos from Pull & Bear menswear (although these particular t-shirts are most definitely unisex). Whilst over in their womenswear department, you'll find these hot little scoop neck vests featuring rockier neon and faded, vintage style zebra MTV logos.
At a totally reasonable £15.99 for the vests and £17.99 for the t-shirts, all available from www.pullandbear.com, I'm going for one of each of the T's to wear with my newly acquired Yo! MTV Raps Puma high tops, below, that I've been thinking about ever since I stupidly neglected to buy them when they first came out a few years back. Thank you eBay! I really do love my MTV.

Ground Control to Major Tom: Nike's Mars-Bound Makeover from Tom Sachs

| Tom Sachs' NIKECraft: Mars Yard Shoe, £325 |
Nike really are doing their best to convert me at the moment. Check out these super tactile NIKECraft designs from their collaboration with bricolage artist Tom Sachs coinciding with the launch of his latest art project, SPACE PROGRAM: Mars.
Inspired by the athletic journey astronauts take to get them space-ready, these designs are a joint collaboration between Nike - who bring the tech - and Tom - who brings the space-geek chic. The range includes trench coats, jackets, the Mars Yard sneaker, pictured above (£325) and a couple of bags, and all are packed clever, astronaut-approved functionality packed design features like zipper pulls that double as storage.

| Tom Sachs' NIKECraft - Lightweight tote, £480, TS Trench coat, £430 |
The NIKECraft collection is set to drop at the Nike 1948 store in Shoreditch (if you haven't been - go) on 18th May, then available from Dover Street Market from 23rd. Oh how I wish they were coming to Foot Patrol, if only for the sake of the post's title...

Vans Launch New Camden Store
Where would indie boys and girls be without their trusty Vans Authentic plimsolls? Opening a dedicated Vans store on the old Footlocker site opposite Camden Town tube station on the High Street side is a genius move by the American skate brand. The US-style shop fit - the first of its UK stores to have this edgy, raw wood and wire, artisan warehouse style interior - gives it a more urban feel well suited to the North London muso vibe.
Although the official launch was last night, the store - which sells both men's and women's apparel, skateboards, longboards, accessories, luggage, some great snapbacks and, of course, shoes - has been open for two weeks now and the super helpful staff tell me they've been run off their feet every single day with a mixture of tourists and Londoners.
Possibly the best news from last night's launch was that the super hot, long awaited Vans' Waffle Sole iPhone Covers which started off as a promo item then went cult, selling for crazy$£ on eBay, will finally be getting a general release this August.
This new Camden store has a similar feel, interior-wise, to the Vans x DQM General Store in New York (although it's far less mainstream on the product front), so I'm hoping it's a step towards bringing this kind of upmarket, skate inspired street fashion boutique to the UK.

Final Fantasy Goes High Fashion as Characters Model Prada for Arena Homme +. I KNOW.
Hats off to Arena Homme+. The latest issue brings together two worlds you never thought you'd see collide: Final Fantasy, Square Enix's long-running role-playing video game full of dwarves, elves, Dragons and Robots, and Prada, the ultimate in high end fashion.
In an inspired CGI editorial celebrating creativity and innovation, as well as the best-selling game series' 25th anniversary, Square Enix worked with the Italian fashion house to produce these amazing images showing some of Final Fantasy XIII-2's main characters - Hope, Noel, Snow, Sahz and Lightning (a girl, oddly, pictured top) - model pieces from this season's golf-inspired Prada menswear collection.
Admittedly you wouldn't necessarily get the golf references from this crazy clever shoot, but you do get the trademark Prada eccentricity and offbeat luxe feel, although I'm not sure Final Fantasy gamers - typically seen as late night bedroom-based nerds - are necessarily the target market for the clothes, but maybe as a non-Final Fantasy player myself, I'm just stereotyping. After all, if there's one thing Prada does very well indeed, it's a slick line in geek chic.

Pete Doherty's Clothing Line for The Kooples
Doesn't wor Pete (the Birthday Boy - 33 today - Happy Birthday, sir) scrub up well? This is him modelling the line he designed for super cool French fashion brand, The Kooples (which goes by the dodgy-band-like name 'Peter Doherty & The Kooples') which comes out on 14th March. The men's collection is a nifty mix of bohemian indie boy about town and quirkily styled retro geezer with that slightly-too-small charity shop chic. His on/off girlfriend, the doe (Doh?) eyed model Irina Lazareaunu models the women's designs which all have a relaxed, vintage charm to them and a subtle sexiness. (Lock & Co.) Hats off to the boy. It's a good look.

JACK SPADE OPENS LONDON STORE!
From SoHo to Soho, Kate Spade's brilliant brother brand, urban menswear maestro Jack Spade is coming to London! The first UK store from the American label which oozes the kind of media cool that makes Soho such a great location for the shop, will open in London at 83 Berwick Street W1 on 30th March. The messenger bags are worth a look for the ladies too - I've had mine, which I use as a laptop bag, for almost five years now and it's still pretty much good as new and has a slick, city style that doesn't date. I highly recommend. www.jackspade.com

Penfield 'Gillman' Fair Isle Puffa Gilet
Loving the multi-coloured fair isle-bordering-on-aztec patterning of this Limited Edition Penfield 'Gillman' body warmer which makes a cosy, throw-on alternative to bulky coats and puffa jackets now the temperatures are starting to rise. The detailed knitted panelling on the yoke and hand warmer pockets, as well as the lining, is a special collaboration between Penfield and Scottish family wool company, Jamieson's, using their exclusive Shetland Wool. Super snuggly! Ltd. Ed. Penfield Gillman vest in navy, £250 from Flatspot.com

Supreme Spring / Summer 2012 Collection
Too cool for school New York skate empire Supreme has launched it's new Spring Summer 2012 lookbook online.
The new collection mixes the street style and utility the label is known for, with a real 50s Americana via vibe, from classic, preppy shirts, suede bomber and varsity jackets to Hawaiian print shirts, hoodies and - best of all - Schott x Supreme custom fit leather flying jackets with tropical lining. There's plenty of retro, sports-inspired apparel too for this Olympics year, with baseball jerseys, athletics style running vests, and American football tees. The caps are out of control this season with the soft camp caps, particularly the suede versions, and the 5 panel map of the world styles doing it best for me. There's the usual discreet to in your face logo-bearing basics and the Kate Moss T-shirt that's been all over the internet for the past week too as well as some great luggage in brilliant colourways - check out the awesome orange nylon utility bag below.
Here's my selection of the best of Supreme SS12 - check out www.supremenewyork.com for the full lookbook and to shop the collection after the drop on 1st March although it'll be available in store from 23rd Feb for everywhere apart from Japan who get it on Feb 25th.
