Saint Bustier - Designer Busty Girl Fashion Site - Launches

I'M SORRY. I know I've been gone a long time so I figured I owed you an explanation, and here it is: Saint Bustier. 

For the past few months I've been part of the Saint Bustier team, working on bringing you the first ever designer fashion boutique to cater for women who wear regular clothes sizes (UK 8-18) but have large cup sizes (D-H). As the fantastique Mademoiselle Robot described it, Saint Bustier is "a real game changer... the Net A Porter of boobies".

SaintBustier.com has just launched and is proving hugely popular already - it seems there are a lot of us out there who find it hard to buy clothes that don't gape, strain or cause wholly indecent wardrobe malfunctions without having to go up a size or two to accommodate our ample chests. 

I'm a firm believer that fashion is for everyone and should be accessible so - given the majority of fashion is cut to a B cup regardless of clothing size - I'm delighted to be involved with Saint Bustier. We're bringing gorgeous, well fitting, D-H cup fashion and awesome outfits, other than your bog standard wrap dresses and v-neck t-shirts, from great brands (scandi-cool to American starlet and Brit chic) to the booby masses. 

Everything's pictured on 30E-32GG models too, along with detailed Fit Notes, so you can get a better idea of what to expect depending on your particular shape.

Alexander McQueen High Shine Visors for AW12

Robot nation? Welder chic? I don't know what you'd call accessorising your look with a new high shine Alexander McQueen visor but I do know it's SUPER HOT. The official line for this key AW12 accessory is 'Beautiful Future' which I can run with but fashion aside, on a practical level it's great for blocking all those nasty, ageing UV rays from a lot more of your face than sunglasses. I'm not sure it's one for the round-of-face like me (sad face) but whatever, I still love it. £270 from various retailers or buy online from www.alexandermcqueen.com

Black Diamond Engagement Ring by Karl Fritsch

I'm afraid I can't tell you much about it other than that this 2 carat black diamond engagement ring, complete with a face engraved into the diamond (see the holes?), by German avant garde jewellery designer Karl Fritsch is one of the most incredible pieces of fine jewellery I've ever laid eyes on. So unique.

JACK SPADE OPENS LONDON STORE!

From SoHo to Soho, Kate Spade's brilliant brother brand, urban menswear maestro Jack Spade is coming to London! The first UK store from the American label which oozes the kind of media cool that makes Soho such a great location for the shop, will open in London at 83 Berwick Street W1 on 30th March. The messenger bags are worth a look for the ladies too - I've had mine, which I use as a laptop bag, for almost five years now and it's still pretty much good as new and has a slick, city style that doesn't date. Corrie Nielsen at London Fashion Week AW12

Something's been bothering me since I watched former Fashion Fund winner Corrie Nielsen's Autumn / Winter 2012 show via Livestream this London Fashion Week.  No, it wasn't the undeniable echoes of Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood in her designs, nor the wonder at why an American might chose to really run with such a strong Scottish theme (turns out her family roots were originally in the Highlands and this was about exploring her heritage). No, it was the voluminous creation pictured above.  The sumptuous, cocoon-like coat which envelopes the wearer in a luxurious, silky cloud. Please don't think me facetious but doesn't it remind you of the bin bags clothes you used to make in front of Blue Peter in the 80s...?  Split, scrunch-to-ruffle, staple then stick. It got in my head, now I can't see past it...

Multi Coloured Crimps on the NYFW Catwalk

OK so I love me some Jeremy Scott, any FFYW reader will know that, though with his new collection for Autumn / Winter 2012/13 I found a lot of the looks a little flat and 'Cyber Dog'-slash-festival stall wear for my liking but OH the hair!  Check out the awesome crimped bleach blonde bobs with colour flashes to match the outfits from yesterday's New York Fashion Week show. Jezza always does give good hair... The 90s Bart Simpson prints and emoticon pieces were fun too as well as the multicoloured fur chubbies (I do hope it's faux though). Have a look.... Sportmax Pastel Fade Heels & Matching Hair

I am so coveting these Tiffany blue/green coloured heels with the faded pastel heels from Sportmax that I saw in the Observer.  I'm not quite sure why but they make me want to lick them - maybe it's a subconscious ice cream type thing.  I'm really into fades at the moment from these heels to my hair which is currently an autumnal dark auburn fading through a variety of reds through to strawberry blonde ends that border on the colour of Fruit Salad Chewits, although I'm feeling one of these looks as my next hair move...  Check out Bleach London's site for more work-unfriendly hair dyespiration.

DOLAN 'CONFETTI' DRESS - SPORTY SEQUINS

I gotta get me one of these!  Sporty AND sparkly - and comfy too!  This sequinned pull on Confetti dress by LA based brand Dolan is a wicked wardrobe staple and ties in well with the sports luxe trend that's so big for Spring / Summer.  Wear with wedge heeled trainers or fat tongued hi tops and a high pony. IT'S CREEPY AND IT'S KOOKY... KID ROBOT'S TALES FROM THE SNEAKY CRYPT

Looking for something spooky this Halloween weekend?  UK artist and Dunny designer, Sneaky Raccoon presents Tales from the Sneaky Crypt, a fundraising group show opening today through Monday 31st, in aid of the MacMillan Cancer Support charity at Kid Robot London's Covent Garden store.

DIARY DATE: LOUBOUTIN'S FIRST UK RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION

Litigious WAG fav Christian Louboutin has kindly announced that he will be launching his first ever UK retrospective next March to celebrate my birthday.  OK so that's not strictly true, it's to mark his 20 year anniversary in the luxury footwear industry, but the date couldn't be closer, taking place at London's Design Museum from 28th March to 1st July 2012.

According to the press release the exhibition which will be created by the team behind the interior of Shoreditch House and the Christian Louboutin pop-up at Selfridges, will include "an in-depth insight into the design process, detailing how the shoe is made from beginning to end with a special focus on the origins of the trademark red sole. Visitors also get to find out how the brand approaches sales, store design and marketing, as Louboutin famously does not advertise."  Intriguing stuff, though personally I'm more interested in whether there will be any Mad Mary Janes (above) in a size 41 going spare/left unguarded.

FASHION WEEK FOODIE TREAT: MATTHEW WILLIAMSON X LADUREE

DIVA ON DEMAND: ANOTHER CHANCE TO CATCH VALENTINO DOC

Great news for anyone who missed this 2010 BBC documentary about the legendary Italian designer and couturier, Valentino - Valentino: The Last Emperor is now available for a limited time on BBC iPlayer as part of the Storyville season.

The film crew follow the designer, who turns 80 next year, across the globe tracking his every move, documenting two of his collections, his spectacular 45th anniversary exhibition and celebrations, but it is his personal relationships which give the most insight into this notoriously guarded man.

Giancarlo Giammetti, Valentino's saintly patient partner of over 50 years and the honorary President of the Valentino house, talks openly about both their personal and business relationships.  This is a man who has clearly taken on a hugely stressful supportive role, absorbing any anxieties on behalf of his partner so that he can truly shine.

It is fascinating to see the human, playful side of Valentino's character in their interactions as well as in his encounters with respected peer, Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld - not to mention his beloved dogs.  How cute??  I think they deserve their own show.

Despite its 90 minute run time - mostly involving the many takeovers and edgy business dealings of the company which lead to his retirement in January 2008 - I could easily have watched an entire series on Valentino alone.  It is just so warm and gripping for anyone with an interest in people watching regardless of their love of fashion.

From backroom seamstress tantrums and sneak peeks into the designer's many homes, to flashbacks from his career throughout the decades and some of the most exquisite gowns for both catwalk and from his archive worn by clients including Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O, I just didn't want this delicious, humorous, diva-packed documentary to end.  Must see TV.
